Guest Blogger 10 ~ Jessica @ And Then There Were 4
Today will be my last Vegas Headliner for a little while... Don't get too sad, I am coming home from Vacation, and have lots in store!!
Jessica from And Then There Were 4 writes a great family blog. She loves to post about her children, and I (like many) love to read about all they are doing these days. She is a green mama who does her part to help our beautiful earth stay that way, and she has a passion for Fluff (just like me!!). Her boys are adorable, she is sweet as pie, and her blog can certainly stand on it's own! Not to mention all the fun giveaways she hosts, and a Saturday blog hop she co-hosts. So last, but certainly not least, Jessica!!
Tell me about yourself and your family.
My husband and I have been married for a little over 4 years now and in that time have moved across country, had two beautiful boys, moved several times to different apartments and have made a few job changes. We live a busy life, but I love it! We have two boys, Cohen who just turned two and Eli is 8 months. We live in sunny San Diego, but we consider North Idaho, where we were both raised, as home, and we hope to be able to move back soon! In the meantime, I am a full-time mama, the Organizer of a SAHM Meet-up group and an avid blogger! Needless to say, I enjoy keeping busy!
Why do you blog; what made you start?
I started And Then There Were 4... about 2.5 months ago and I absolutely love it! I began to blog as an outlet. Everything I do is for my boys and my family, but I wanted (and needed) something for myself! Plus, I do not even consider it work and think it is just so much fun!
You have 24 hours where you can do anything regardless of money, time, or consequence. What three things do you do?
Hm... Oh goodness. I would definitely try skydiving! I've always wanted to do it and would totally give it a shot if money weren't an option! Second, I would go on a massive shopping spree! I totally need some new clothes! :) Lastly, I would probably fly over to New York. I have always wanted to go there and would probably use my shopping spree there!! Woohoo! If only....!
If you could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be?
England. I really have no idea why but I have always wanted to go there. All the history, art and accents! :)
How do you want to be remembered?
Foremost, I want to be remembered as a mother who put her children first in everything. Who cared for them and loved them 100% no matter what! I want my boys to know I love them but I also want others to know how much I care for them, too.
I also want to be remember as someone who made a difference. I know that sounds cliche... But I have always had a passion for children. One day, when my boys are older, I hope to be able to help children who need it. Either in the foster system, those who are hungry or homeless, something that will make a difference in the life of at least one child.
If you could change something about yourself, what would it be & why?
Well, this one is an easy one. I would definitely change the way I see myself. I would change my self-image. Ever since I can remember, I have struggled with what I look like and it sure is a pain! I would love to be accepting of my appearance and love the body I'm in! :) One day, hopefully that will happen!
