Reverb10 ~ Community
December 7 – Community.
Where have you discovered community, online or otherwise, in 2010? What community would you like to join, create or more deeply connect with in 2011?

Online Community:
While I went public with my Blog in 2009, I am always surprised and amazed at the outpouring of support I have found through my blog.
There were days when I wasn't able to leave the house due to Squish being sick, and the comments people I don't even know leave encouraging me, and sympathizing with me always brighten my day.
I have made some wonderful friends through blogging. Some that I have been fortunate to meet in real life, and others that I have yet to meet. And yet, those very same people are sometimes more attentive and supportive than some real life friends.
It is just amazing how vast the blogging community is. I love sharing my family life with this community. I have gotten tips and advice on parenting I may not have gotten in real life. I have had support when I needed it, and kind comments always make my day.
The fact that people make a point to stop by and read my blog continues to be humbling and inspiring. I am so grateful for the community of bloggers that I have made this past year.
Thank you to all of you.
Daily Vegas Community:
I have lived in Las Vegas for going on 5 years now, and I don't think I ever felt as at "home" in Las Vegas as I have this year.
I know 100% without a shadow of a doubt that I have my Mommy and Me friends to thank for that. I was lucky enough to join a playgroup where I have met several great friends.
They have all been supportive, and have provided much needed laughter in the face of sleep deprivation. I am not sure if these women know how much their friendship has met to me.
I am lucky and blessed to have found such great friends, and a community of support. It has really helped Las Vegas feel more like "home" and less like a stopping point.
