aden and anais ~ Dream Blanket Review & Giveaway

I am a HUGE fan of aden+anais. In fact if you were to ask me what 3 items I could not do without as a new mother, aden+anais blankets is for sure be one of them. aden+anais products are all made out of muslin. Muslin is one of those wonder fabrics. It is breathable fabric and helps keep baby comfortable whether it is a warm summer day, or a cool fall night.

Living in Las Vegas, I found this to be the absolutely best swaddling blanket on the market. They are large enough to not only use as a swaddle, but also a stroller cover, a nursing blanket, tummy time blanket, or even a portable crib sheet.


As Squishy grew, and was no longer swaddled, we continued to use aden+anais swaddles and sleeping bags. I knew our next aden+nais product was going to be the dream blanket. The dream blanket is made with 4 layers of Muslin to provide a few extra layers of warmth, and the perfect thickness to use as a snuggling blanket. The dream blanket is so big that I can still swaddle my 17 month old toddler in it. (Not that I do, but I have the option!)

When our dream blanket came in the mail, I immediately opened it and threw it into the wash, and gave it fresh and warm to my son from the dryer. One of my favorite things about Muslin is the more you wash it, the softer it gets. I honestly don't think he has ever showed as much affection for a blanket as he did the dream blanket. He smiled, and then flopped down on the floor and snuggled into the dream blanket.
The little man dream blanket came with cars on one side, and a modern design on the other. He has slept with the dream blanket every night since we got it. And when he got sick this past weekend - the dream blanket didn't leave his side. What I love about this blanket, is that I can tell my son really loves it. Not only does he snuggle with it, but at night when I check on him, he is still covered by the blanket. Which means that he isn't too hot, and I know he isn't cold.

I know he doesn't look happy here - he isn't, he is sick. But he did not want us to take away his dream blanket. I was happy he had his dream blanket to give him comfort.
