Toddler Talk ~ Week 18 (Questions)
Welcome to week 18 of Toddler Talk Thursday! Where Family and Life in Las Vegas, Crazy about my Baybah, and My Life as a Sippy Cup Mom talk all things Toddler
Toddler Talk Thursday was created as a place for moms and dads of toddlers to come together over a weekly topic and share ideas, go-to toys, or products. It is a great way to meet other bloggers of toddlers. Each week the topic will be different; we invite you to link up, share your weekly Toddler Talk!!

We LOVED looking through all your beautiful submissions. Everyone has such adorable kiddos!
This week’s topic is : Ask you Questions
My Questions are:
1. What is your favorite on the go meal for your Toddler?
2. We are having some issues walking in public. Squish wants to walk on his own, I would prefer to hold his hand. But when I do, he drops his body weight and gets upset. He is wanting to be independent. I have never been a big fan of leashes personally, but I don't know how to keep him from running away in a crowd and not throwing a fit. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for all your wonderful ideas!

Little Rocker loves pizza and tacos, so while we're out we stop somewhere (if we can) to grab him something! Mmmm
We do not really have a go to meal, he eats pretty much whatever we are eating. But he loves mashed potatoes and green beans!
I am having the same walking problem. I hope someone has some ideas!
I followed you and i linked up.
Hello this is my first Toddler Talk, so I'm learning as I go!!
1. Granted this goes against my question that I posted on my page since my toddler refuses to eat.. BUT when my 9 yr old was a toddler, our 'on the go' meals things like pizza & subs/sandwiches, he also liked mac & cheese and spaghetti.
2. Im not a fan of leashes either and refused to put one on my son and will do the same for my daughter. Have you tried talking to him? I talked to my son telling him that holding my hand kept him 'safe', I didn't scare him into holding my land, but I did talkto him about being safe and not getting lost.
Another thing I did once was we were in the store (wasn't busy at all, like crowded) and he wandered down an aisle by himself so I stepped out of his view. He didn't panic when he didn't see me, but when he saw me again, we talked about 'running away' and being 'lost' and he always held my hand after that.. Maybe it clicked at that moment!
Good luck mama!!

The Adventures of Mommy B
For the walking in public we tell Mackenzie that she has to hold our hand our we will pick her up and after two times of picking her up, she started agreeing to hold our hands. She squirmed and got mad when we picked her up, but I just made sure I held on tight enough that she would stay in my arms but not so tight that I hurt her.
Linked up. for on the go, my boys have enjoyed pizza, fries, fruit pieces, cereal, raisans, and other small things like that.
For walking in public, my other boys were pretty good, they stayed next to me, too afraid to even step acentimeter faster than me, lol. but jehzel he is different, he is an SPD child, he is a sensory seeker, he likes crashing, has vestubular thing going on, and seeks dangerous things, when we are out, he goes into the stroller. It is a safety issue for him, I try to let him loose, but he is only 1 1/2 and he really is not there cognitivity thinking skill wise to think this is dangerous, so i hold, him, and stuff. So its a tough one for me with him.
