We had a lot of "firsts" in 2010. But I think that the ones that rank up at the top of those lists would be:

The first time Squish gave me a kiss when I asked for one.

Daddy coming home from deployment (Not a first, but definitely a highlight!)

Squishy's first hair cut

Our first visit to the Minnesota State Fair

And not a first - more like a last, but the day we stopped breastfeeding. I am thrilled to have made it as long as we did, and it is definitely a day I won't ever forget.

Our Life with Prader-Willi Syndrome in Las Vegas

This week’s topic is : Share a holiday tradition from your childhood that you continued on with your family! Or share a new tradition!

A holiday tradition that we continue is one that I grew up with. Each year we buy a new ornament for our tree to represent something from that year. We also get an ornament for the Squish (each child get's their own) so that he can have a whole bunch of ornaments to take to his home when he has his own family.

This year we got Squish a Guitar Ornament, because he LOVES music and LOVES his guitar that his Farmor got for him.

This week’s topic is : Ask you Questions

We thought this week we would have you all post any questions about your Toddler you would like advice on.  Maybe you are having sleep issues, meal time drama, or just want some new suggestions on meal ideas, music, or things other Toddlers enjoy.  No question is off limits, but please as we go around be respectful of other people and different parenting styles.

My Questions are:
1. What is your favorite on the go meal for your Toddler?
2. We are having some issues walking in public.  Squish wants to walk on his own, I would prefer to hold his hand.  But when I do, he drops his body weight and gets upset.  He is wanting to be independent.  I have never been a big fan of leashes personally, but I don't know how to keep him from running away in a crowd and not throwing a fit.  Any suggestions?
