MERRY MERRY MERRY

Hi all!
Just a quick stop in to again wish everyone a Merry Christmas.  We are having a nice time in Florida - Kellan has given me an early Christmas present by sleeping through the night for two nights in a row.  It may be just a fluke, but I am sure enjoying the sleep.  Rob is going to call tonight to tell Kellan all about Santa, and we have been talking to him about baby Jesus, and why we celebrate this holiday at all.

It really is so much fun to have a child, and see the magic through their eyes.  Even if he doesn't understand yet what is going on, he loves seeing all the lights, and hearing all the music playing everywhere.  I can't wait for next year when he can talk and tell us what he is thinking - even if it is only a couple of words.

I have been listening to Amy Grant and Alabama Christmas albums, they hold many memories to my Christmas's as a child.  We made cookies, and added some new baked goodies of our own this year.  I love starting our own family traditions, and using the old ones that have so many wonderful memories for me.  What a wonderful time of year this is.

I hope this finds you and yours cuddled up and enjoying the holidays as much as we are this year.  My thoughts and prayers are with those who can't be with their families this year, and are serving our country overseas.  Love to all!
