Daily Vegas ~ Wordfilled Wednesday

Happy Hump Day (almost!). I am sorry for such a short post today, I have been super busy trying to get everything done, and on top of that I have a sinus headache that feels like I have one of Squish's toys shoved up in my brain through my nose! (sorry for the mental picture)
In just a few short days - this will be us! We will be braving the crowds, and the heat to visit our first Minnesota state Fair. For years I have listened to the stories my family tells about their adventures with all you can drink milk, chocolate covered bacon, more food on a stick than you can imagine, and of course butter sculptures of the beauty queens. I hope we have a blast, I hope Squish enjoys seeing all the people, and I hope we don't get too hot. I am so excited to go I can't even stand it!!

Of course seeing my family is the main reason we are going, but isn't this a wonderful bonus??
And even though I will be on Vacation for the next 10 or so days, please make sure you stop in. I have some fantastic Guest Bloggers lined up to share with all of you!

State fairs are a lot of fun, especially if it is one that really involves the community! I love the sights and smells-(Okay, NOT the bad smells!)-the food, and the fun that can be found at state fairs.

I grew up in MN, so I've been to the State Fair a million times! Yes, there will be crowds and it will probably be hot, but it's a lot of fun! Mmmmm, I love that All The Milk You Can Drink booth... and I could go for something fried on a stick right about now...

Have fun!

Hey Mama!! Take it all in at the MN State Fair. Squish will love it. Make sure you take him to the animal barns. (They even have one where you can watch the animals give birth - not sure if you're up for that, tho..haha) Eat as many different things you can on a stick. Fun!! I wish we were going this year, but have decided to skip it until the girls get a little bit older. If you are near Farmington, give me a shout. :)
Have a great/safe trip and good luck with the little one on the flight here.

Found your blog through BlogFrog and so glad I did! I tried the whole raising a family in Vegas thing. Unfortunately, it did not work out (my husband and I separated)but it is inspiring to see others. Can't wait to do some more reading!
