Help, Winner, Hops ~ Oh MY!
Hey all!
I was wondering if you could help a mama out! I have a couple of questions.
1. How do I get numbers to post with the comments?? Counting to 88 (several times to be sure) was a B.R.A.T!!
2. Twitter question - can you automatically send a thank you when people follow you?
3. What they heck are hashtags, and how are they used?
4. Any Greenies know of a good safe all natural weed killer? My tree in my yard is getting strangled, and is super near death...)
5. Do you think it is okay to have multiple posts on certain days? I am having trouble trying to balance the personal entries (which I love) the hops (which are fun) and the reviews/spotlights (which are great).
6. Would anyone be interested in guest posting? I am just putting out feelers right now - but email me at familyandlifeinlv(at)gmail(dot)com if you are interested.
Now you may be wondering - or not - why I was counting to 88 several times tonight, and no, it was not my OCD. A Winner for the RubADub Buddies contest has been chosen. OMG when you figure it out you let me know! Our custom themes have thrown them off! And I have that problem on my www.GirlsAfterDark.com blog where I do giveaways. I counted like 4 different times. awful!

I hope someone replies, I would love to know those things too! I know it is possible to number your comments because I swear I saw someone do it on blogger.

3. Hash Tags are trending subjects. Umm.... like, when I talk about NaturalHair on twitter I always put a hashtag in front of it. That way, people that are following that trend, but not following me, may see it. I don't know if you use regular twitter or a different program... I don't like twitter because I may not see all of my messages. I use hootsuite. That way I can have tabs. I have a tab for the trend #naturalhair and #plussize and #indy and #fashion. I can see what people are talking about in those areas. If that doesnt make sense let me know and I will shoot you a private message to explain further.

1. No clue. Sorry.
2. No clue. You figure it out, let me know!
3. On twitter? They are kind of like a post tag. Its something you can use to keep track of a certain subject you post about a lot or connect with other people talking about the same things. Does that make sense?
4. I have heard of people using bleach but I don't know if it works. (no yard)
5. I do. As long as you aren't posting five or six reviews/ giveaways a day plus regular posts. That irritates me to no end!
6. Umm. Why don't you check out my blog and see if you like and then you can email me if you like my style.. I would recommend doing that anyway. Emailing the bloggers you love and/ or want to GP.
